All individuals convicted of a DUI will have to complete the Impaired Driver Rehabilitation Program as a requirement of license reinstatement. Once an evaluation report is prepared, the individual will be referred to the appropriate level of substance abuse treatment.

What to expect at your alcohol treatment program

The program also includes an assessment of the need for further treatment.  Based on this assessment, you may be required to complete additional treatment before your license will be reinstated. If you have a prior driving under the influence conviction, you will be required to complete an alcohol and driving rehabilitation program and a therapy program. Therapy programs may include outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient therapy, and residential therapy. If assigned to treatment, you will be required to complete at least four (4) sessions or six (6) hours of treatment.
